History

The Whitney Manor was built by James McKenzie, late of the Royal Navy in 1817.  It has 32 rooms and nine fireplaces.  Captain McKenzie was the captain of the first cargo ship (similar to the boat on our logo) to sail up the St Lawrence River

We purchased the Manor in 2002.  It was at the time broken into 6 apartments.  It is a beautiful home with 12 foot ceilings, large doors and windows, original pine floors in areas, and character galore.
